This tracker monitors the full lifecycle of U.S. federal legislation: bill introductions and text from Congress.gov, floor votes and roll calls, and downstream implementation through DoD contracts, USAspending obligations, SAM.gov solicitations, and Grants.gov awards.
Chamber detection (Senate vs House) and vote results (Passed/Failed) are extracted via keyword matching from event titles and summaries. The Implementation Rate shows the approximate ratio of contract/grant events to legislative events.
FOIA tracking via MuckRock and FOIA.gov provides oversight transparency. Data refreshes every 5 minutes.
