Risk scoring is a weighted composite based on threat levels across all monitored sources. Critical events contribute 100 points, high events 75, medium 50, low 25, and info 5. The score represents the ratio of actual threat weight to maximum possible.
Chokepoint proximity is determined by geographic distance (within 5 degrees) to five critical straits: Suez, Panama, Hormuz, Malacca, and the Taiwan Strait. Material tracking scans event text for mentions of strategic commodities.
Data refreshes every 5 minutes. Sources include natural disaster alerts, defense contract databases, economic indicators, infrastructure monitors, and conflict trackers.
